Kafka on the Shore was one of the best books I’ve read recently. A surreal story that attracted me so much in all 500 pages so that I could hardly put the book down. If I get the chance, I will definitely read this book again, especially since it might be a little difficult to understand the book with reading it once. This was the third story I read by Murakami and I loved it the most.
It is very likely that you like this book because, unlike The Strange Library, the story is not lost due to its extreme unreality, and strange events happen little by little in time, and you, like the characters of the story, slowly deal with strange events and accept them.
Perhaps the best thing I learned from this book was that you can face problems all alone and apart from succeeding or failing, facing problems and working hard can make you stronger, even if that person is too young, too old or even stupid
